When patients with complex regional pain syndrome have spinal cord stimulator implant surgery, they appeal somatic pain from surgical incision sites. The continuous wound infiltration with local anesthetic has been used in various operations and proven effective for postoperative pain control. It also decreases the usage of opioids and minimizes the side effects of those. In this report, we describe the management of the somatic pain from surgical wound sites after spinal cord stimulator implant surgery in two patients with complex regional pain syndrome.
